Understanding and
practicing proper etiquette -- what is expected or customary when
interacting with others -- allows executives to be more at ease
while transacting business with clients.
But it also can make
them more effective, by powerfully demonstrating to clients and
associates that they are prepared for any circumstance and confident
in any setting.
Cecilia Grimes has
helped executives develop these critical skills since 1996, when she
received professional accreditation from the prestigious Protocol
School of Washington.
Over the years, she
has worked with corporate clients by providing in-house training
sessions and teaching executives in a variety of business etiquette
and dining workshops like those she has offered at The Capital City
Club, located among corporations and governmental agencies in
Raleigh, N.C.
"Seminars emphasize
how to conduct business effectively," said Grimes. "Dining tutorials
are not as much about how to eat, as how to do business while dining
with confidence, and etiquette seminars are designed to teach
protocols that allow executives to magnify the impact of their work
and message." |
